Hi all, I'm in the heating and hot water industy and I love this site, I've been reading the wall of shame for a while for giggles, and thought I'd share this picture one of my contractors sent me. Somebody rigged up a range boiler to use as an electric water heater. No insulation, TPR plumbed into the drain. Must have been hot as hell in that closet. Imagine the electric bill, not to mention the safety concerns!
