We have a CL44E in our hospital kitchen (I am a maintenance tech) when it fills it has started to water hammer, it will shake pipes in the wall and celling
it has a steam heat exchanger to boost the water temp. Today I found the vacuum breaker at the top leaking when it started hammering and rebuilt it that slowed it down some but did not stop it, I turned off the steam to the exchanger to make sure it was not
leaking steam into the water, hammering did not help. The person who runs it also said it takes a long time to fill, and when you open the door and fill stops water still comes out of the rinse nozzles. We don't know a lot about this machine but we want to try to repair in house before subbing it out. What else do I need to look for?
Thanks
