Posted a related inquiry last week, but it did not attract many responses. Since then, a few more things have transpired that has narrowed it down some. My question now is, on a Jace, using Lon, if I utilize the Lon wiresheet to create bindings between devices, is there some rule that prohibits creating proxy points from the points that are bound on the wiresheet? I understand that it's not good practice to bind points in both fashions, device to device, and thru the Jace using the link mark method. But is anything compromised by discovering and bringing the points involved into the database for monitoring purposes only?
