Tridium JACE into ALC

We have a sales engineer bidding a project that has a ALC front end for ALL of their schools. He is wanting to BID to install our controls and a Tridium JACE, but the JACE has to be able to be pulled into the ALC system. Has anyone ever done this? Any issues when trying to do this?

I need to get more information from the sales engineer. I would think we could just install the controllers and integrate them into ALC and not even bother with a JACE.
