Problem with BBQ flame too orange and flare ups (air shutter problem?)

Hi, I have a 6 years old Napoleon Natural Gaz BBQ (I hate it, but that's another story...). I recently remembered that I was supposed to clean the gas pipes for spider nests (we have a lot of spiders in my area). Although I wasn't having any problems, I decided to dismantle it (the gas pipes) to clean them and make sure everything was ok. Surprisingly, the tubes did not seem obstructed at all, and running a toothpick through each small hole to make sure it was not clogged didn't yield anything... everything was empty and clean. I them reassembled my BBQ and have since been having A LOT of problems with the flame.
