How would YOU install this ceiling fan?? - commercial space.

Hey guys, Wondering how someone more experienced than me would handle this: My wife has a Yoga/Pilates studio and wants a ceiling fan installed in a room. (12' commercial exposed girders) Its easy access to elec from 6 existing pot lights and open girder commercial ceiling. Easy to tie into the existing pots for power, But they want to maintain the dimmer switch on the lighting. Will a ceiling fan work on a regular dimmer? Or should I pull power from an electric outlet on the wall? Run it somehow to a switch 3 bays over, and then feed it up to the fan, so it has its own source and control? What a pain in the arse... and close to impossible as they are mirrored walls
