Service Technician

We are currently interviewing service technicians for full-time permanent positions. We are looking for self-performing individuals with "CAN DO" attitudes. You must be able to perform general and HVAC maintenance at high levels. Troubleshooting of residential and commercial systems up to 100 tons of unitary systems. Experience working on cooling towers, pumps, plate frame heat exchangers, heat pumps, rooftops, control systems, VFD's, etc. We are looking for journeymen, real tradesman that take pride in his or her work.
Must be able to work in a team environment and possess good oral and written communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance work orders according to schedule, follows tasking plans, and manufacturers recommendations.
Performs HVAC winter and summer diagnostic analysis utilizing current technology and manufacturers recommendations. Record findings and develop a working history of the equipment.
Completes service reports, including recommendations on the condition of the equipment, and improvements on existing maintenance plans. Must be well organized to keep accurate service and maintenance records. Submits time sheet and paperwork accurately and on time.
Communicates effectively with client to determine service needs.
Eliminates callbacks through proper analysis and accurate repairs.
Utilizes all resources (office support, manufacturer, internet, other tech's, subcontractors, etc.) to accomplish efficient and effective maintenance and repair service results.
Complete commissioning of new equipment per the manufacturers recommendation.
Keeps service van stocked properly, tools managed in good working order and in an orderly fashion to be efficient and reduce windshield time.
Flexible to work overtime, travel as needed, and be scheduled on the on-call rotation.
Supports the installation crews on new installation and replacement of commercial and industrial HVAC equipment.
Understands control operation, including sequence of operation, troubleshooting, and reading schematics and ladder diagrams.
Must have prior heat-pump experience (Climate Master a plus)
Must pass a DRUG and BACKGROUND check
Must have a clean drivers license
Must have a EPA certificate

Qualifications:
High School graduate or G.E.D. is required.
Minimum of 5 years of commercial and industrial HVAC experience.
Knowledge of energy management, package units, pneumatic controls, water treatment, chillers and boilers.
Minimum of 3 years of general maintenance experience.
Universal Certification and 401A Certification.
Completion of an apprenticeship program is a plus.
Must possess a valid state driver's license in good standing.
Computer literacy is a must.
